I was expecting something similar to the thin, flimsy patterns you'd buy in a craft store, but this is significantly higher quality. The paper is nice and thick, and it comes with a booklet that not only has detailed instructions on how to assemble the pattern, but also a few pages about the history of the garments you'll be making. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to make a historically-accurate costume.One note: I would suggest tracing the pattern pieces you plan to use onto another sheet of paper, rather than cutting into the pattern itself. A garment as fitted as a corset is likely to need a lot of adjustments, so it's good to have the original pattern on hand to use for reference. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aside from that once a good fitting was obtained the pattern is a gem *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2017* I know that a fitting DVD exists on Laughing Moon's website. Fitting for a corset is a very different animal compared to costume fitting especially for larger busted women. Take that in mind. Aside from that once a good fitting was obtained the pattern is a gem. I love that this one was on white paper and not the pattern tissue paper.
