Review: Excellent paper for teens with dyslexia or dysgraphia - This paper has been extremely valuable to my young teen, who is mildly dyslexic/dysgraphic. Each line is 3/8" high, with a base-zone that is one-third of the line (1/8”), as indicated by a dashed line. There are no spaces in-between the lines, resulting in 24 lines per side. These features make this paper ideal for older students who have difficulty orienting their writing on traditionally lined loose-leaf paper. The size of the base-zone makes for a much more mature-looking handwriting that is not noticeably different from that of a typical teen; important when in-class writing assignments are required. This is the paper you want if you have an older child who needs indicator lines to help space his letters, but doesn’t want his writing to look ‘childish.' Some reviewers seem disappointed that the base-zone is not centered exactly in the middle of the line, but that is really only appropriate for young children who are learning the ‘ball-and-stick’ type of printing or are in the very beginning stages of learning cursive. Most people actually use about the bottom one-third of a line for their lower-case letters. The only ‘con’ is that the paper is fairly lightweight and is not available in either a heavier weight or with a reinforced margin. We wish that ‘School Smart’ also made spiral-bound notebooks and composition books with this layout! Review: Great Paper - The paper is very thin. But, the lines have helped my boys immensely improve their penmanship. I have been at it since the beginning of the year with them. This solved the problem. In their first time using the paper I could see an improvement. Today they consistently write neatly, the letters are the same size, and all is completely legible. I’m so excited!!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I need 1/2 in paper with 1/4' dotted between.  This looks like the dotted line isn't in the center of the headline and footling.  Can anyone tell me?**
A: I thought the same thing. But it really works. The dotted line is enough above the bottom line to keep the letters even. I think you will like the paper. I start my students out on the larger cursive paper but move them to this when their fine motor control kicks in.

**Q: How are the lines compared to a wide/college ruled paper side by side?**
A: This is 3/8” ruling which is equivalent to wide ruled.  College ruled is 9/32”.

**Q: Does this product work?**
A: My boys both struggled with keeping the size of their letters consistent. This paper has helped them tremendously. I can read their handwriting so much more easily. I want to use this paper forever. It helps me write better as well.

**Q: Has the printing problem been fixed?**
A: I purchased this paper as a gift for a 7th grader who expressed a desire to learn cursive writing, as far as I know she found it helpful.

Lines are a standard size, and the extra guideline helps students practice keeping their letter size uniform. A great tool for our classroom. I taught cursive to a group of homeschool students, 15 students, from grades 4-12. We used a program from Cursive Logic. I highly recommend it!! (just 4 lessons... and then LOTS of practice... is all it takes!) Paper is good quality, not newsprint. It is just like standard notebook paper. Easy to use. I will definitely order again.
