I make a lot of dishes with rice, so having a way to evenly portion the rice in a neat lil' mound is ideal! It gets kind of hot when the rice goes in, so be careful. As long as you scrub it off before the rice cools down and dries on, it's a cinch to clean.

Perfect portion of rice for a side as a meal and for omurice. Careful the metal does get hot very quickly if you are putting in freshly steamed rice.
