That said, I have zero regrets about it. It's well built, lightweight for how big it is, tough aluminum material, and gets the job done in one pass instead of two or three smaller scoops. If you're scooping charcoal, pellets, ice, or anything in bulk and don't mind a scoop on the larger side, this size is fantastic. If you only need it for occasional home grilling, it might be worth considering the smaller version first, but i have no regrets with what I got.

Finally! A scoop that is as large as it looks! I use these in a greenhouse to scoop soil mixes, and a smaller one makes it harder. This one is great!
