## Description

Product description What makes Nexabiotic Better? No Refrigeration Required - Room Temperature Stable Featuring Advanced Lyophilization (Freeze-drying) Technology. Freeze-drying allows the probiotics to remain dormant until they reach the small intestine where they are reactivated upon exposure to moisture. Contains the Hardy Probiotic Strains Saccharomyces boulardii, Bacillus coagulans, and Bacillus subtilis. These strains are able to protect themselves by turning into spores to withstand extreme drought, temperatures, and even the acidic environment of the stomach. Featuring Advanced Lyophilization (Freeze-drying) Technology. Contains the Hardy Probiotic Strains Saccharomyces boulardii, Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus subtilis. Expires Two Years from the Date of Manufacture. - Doctor researched and formulated. - Features probiotic strains studied and published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. - Utilizes one of a kind acid resistant capsules that are more effective than pearls, enteric coated capsules, and powders! Nexabiotic helps support Gastrointestinal Health Immune Health Skin Health Mood And much more! Doctor Formulated - Contains Two Probiotics Recommended by Doctors With 23 Probiotic Strains in Total! Nexabiotic is one of the most diverse formulas featuring 23 different probiotic strains. Prebiotics versus Probiotics While probiotics are known for their benefits on the digestive system, prebiotics also play a key role. - Also contains inulin prebiotics - food to keep the probiotics healthy and alive. Saccharomyces Boulardii (S. boulardii) Discovered by French scientist Henri Boulard in 1923. He noticed that the people indigenous to Southeast Asian would chew on the peels of lychee and mangosteen fruits to ward off the diarrhea-causing disease cholera. Modern scientists have found that S. boulardii has antitoxin, antimicrobial, and anti inflammatory effects. Bifidobacterium Animalis Lactis (Formerly Named B. infantis) Considered one of the earliest colonizers of the human gut, Bifidobacterium infantis or B infantis for short has been found to remove cholesterol from its environment as well as to normalize the acidity of the gut. It also interacts with the immune system to help provide a healthier immune response. Stomach Acid-Resistant Vegetarian Capsules Protects the Probiotics Inside from Stomach Acid Our delivery system is durable yet flexible. Tablets and pearls are difficult to administer to those who have trouble swallowing- requiring you to grind up each dose which damages the probiotics. Carefully Crafted from Start to Finish Freeze-dried probiotics that are room temperature stable. Stomach acid resistant delayed release vegetarian capsules. 23 diverse probiotic strains including L acidophilus, B infantis, and S boulardii. Inulin prebiotic. Dose of 17.25 Billion CFUs† Per Capsule. †measured at the time of manufacture. Supports Gastrointestinal Health Probiotics help your body break down food. They love it in there since it's a warm, moist, and protected environment. They actually live off of the food that you eat, reducing your caloric intake. In doing so, probiotics play an important role in digestion and have been found to support regular bowel movements. Supports Skin Health The skin and gut are intimately connected. In fact, they form one continuous surface. If you unfolded your gut you would find that it has the surface area of 300 square meters, roughly the size of an Olympic tennis court. In terms of numbers, you actually have more gut than you have skin. Probiotics also live on your skin and several studies have found a connection between gut and skin health. Supports Immune Health 70% of your immune system resides in the gut. Your immune system is constantly sampling the contents of your gut and is constantly interacting with the probiotics inside. The complexity of this interaction is still being studied. One thing is for certain- probiotics act as competition for bad actors inside the gut and help them, prevent them from becoming too big of a problem. In doing so, they help support your immune system. Supports Mental Health Another less well known interaction occurs between the gut and brain. This is called the 'gut-brain axis' and recent studies have linked chronic gut inflammation to mental depression. The probiotic strains within Nexabiotic have been chosen because they are known good probiotics that are well-tolerated and Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS).

Review: Nexabiotic has all 5 strains recommended by the book "The Brain Maker" by Dr David Pearlmutter - I read the book of Dr David Pearlmutter "The Brain Maker" and he recommends 5 strains. This is the onbly probiotic that contains all of them including the one most missing in other well regarded brands, the Lactobacillus Brevis. Somebody said nexabiotic changed the formula, but they're all here on this one. 5 most important strains are: Lactobacillus plantarum: Found in kimchi, sauerkraut, and other cultured vegetables, this bug is one of the most beneficial bacteria in your body. It survives in the stomach for a long time and performs many functions that help regulate immunity and control inflammation in the gut. It also helps fortify the gut lining, fending off potential invaders that might compromise the intestinal wall and sneak into the bloodstream. In fact, L. plantarum's beneficial impact on the gut lining is perhaps its most important attribute, for it reduces gut permeability, thereby reducing the associated risks for leaky gut-including an increased risk for virtually every brain disorder. Moreover, L. plantarum can quickly digest protein, and this has the ultimate effect of preventing food allergies and even treating such allergies when they arise. Its been shown in experimental animal studies to protect engineered mice from having clinical symptoms of multiple sclerosis and even reduce the inflammatory response typical of that condition. Finally, L. plantarum has an uncanny ability to absorb and maintain important nutrients such as brain-friendly omega- 3 fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. All of these actions make L. plantarum essential for fighting infection and taking control of any pathogenic bacteria. Lactobaccilus acidophilus: L. acidophilus is the darling of fermented dairy products, including yogurt. It keeps the balance of good vs. bad bacteria in check and in doing so, aids your immune system. In women, it helps to curb the growth of Candida albicans, a fungus that can cause yeast infections. L. acidophilus has also gained fame for its ability to help maintain cholesterol levels. In the small intestine, L. acidophilus produces many beneficial substances that combat pathogenic microbes, including acidolphilin, acidolin, bacteriocin, and lactocidin. Lactobaccilus brevis: Sauerkraut and pickles owe a lot of their benefits to this bug, which improves immune function by increasing cellular immunity and even enhancing killer T cell activity. It's so effective in combating vaginosis, a common bacterial infection of the vagina, that it's added to pharmaceuticals used to treat it. L. brevis also acts to inhibit the effects of certain gut pathogens. Perhaps best of all, it has been shown to increase levels of that all-star brain growth hormone BDNF. Bifidobacterium lactis (also called B. animalis): Fermented milk products like yogurt contain this gem, which is well documented to have a powerful effect on preventing digestive ills and boosting immunity. It's also known to be helpful in knocking out food-born pathogens like salmonella, which causes diarrhea. Bifidobacterium longum: Just one of the 32 species that belong to the genus bifidobacterium, this is one of the first bugs that colonize our bodies at birth. It has been associated with improving lactose tolerance and preventing diarrhea, food allergies, and the proliferation of pathogens. It's also known to have antioxidant properties as well as the ability to scavenge free radicals. In laboratory mice, B. longum has been shown to reduce anxiety. Like L. acidophilus, B. longum also helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels. I hope it helps/ Rita

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I am always curious about the refrigeration issue. I thought that the more "potent" antibiotics needed refrigeration bc they are live cultures.**
A: Dear Valued Customer,

This a great question that we get often. Our probiotics are indeed lyophilized (freeze dried) to preserve shelf life. They are also produced with overages (more probiotic than what is stated on the label) and are produced with hardy, heat-resistant probiotic strains. Our lyophilized probiotics become live again after they are exposed to moisture inside the gut.

There is a small amount of moisture present in the air so for the best results close the lid tightly after opening and/or refrigerate after opening the bottle. Please let us know if you have any other qustions or concerns.

Sincerely,
-Charles C.
DrFormulas Support

**Q: A lot of nonsense could be spared if they would jiust list the complete ingredients. can't see if there are fillers or "other" ingredients**
A: Greetings, our other ingredients used in Nexabiotic® include hypromellose (the plant material the capsules are made of), gellan gum (one of the components of the acid-resistant capsule), maltodextrin (glucose multimers which function as prebiotic), and medium chain triglyceride oil (a vegetarian oil that coats the capsules and prevents them from sticking).Sincerely,-Megan B.ProVita Online Support

**Q: does this need to be refrigerated**
A: Technically no, it does not need to be refrigerated, BUT if you refrigerate any probiotic it will last longer, and be more potent, when you take them.

**Q: what are the caps made of, any fillers, are they living, & are they grown on milk?**
A: Greetings, the capsules are made of a stomach acid resistant plant-based vegetarian material. The capsule works to protect the viable freeze-dried probiotics inside. Since the probiotics do not take up the entire space inside the capsule we utilize maltodextrin which are long chains of glucose. Glucose is the universal source of energy for all forms of life and serves as a food source for the probiotics as they establish themselves inside the GI tract. The probiotics are grown on medium that contains milk proteins. The product itself does not contain milk.I hope I answered all your questions!Sincerely,-Bryan T.Helpful Head of Formulation at BioProsper

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works wonders for digestion
*by J***A on March 17, 2026*

This is a fantastic product. I use it personally for upset stomachs and it helps tremendously with loose stools. Plus, it’s pet-friendly! I sprinkle it on my cats' food and they handle it perfectly. Great value for a product that works for the whole family.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bacteria mix — a true powerhouse
*by F***R on January 25, 2026*

I have tried many probiotics over the years, and this one is a powerhouse. I highly recommend it. To save money and give your body an effective dose, I suggest making your own yogurt. Boil the milk, then let it cool to around 100°F. Add one or two of these capsules to one gallon of milk and keep it in the oven with the light on for about 24 hours. You’ll end up with a high-quality yogurt rich in beneficial bacteria. One of the best features of this particular brand is its Bifidobacterium, which is especially beneficial for the large intestine.
