**Q: Did this replace the mini pal made by cold steel? I'd like to order another one...**
A: No. This is a replacement for the Cold Steel "Ready Edge", which is no longer made. Very similar knife, different sheath.

**Q: does the sheath have a lock?  There is an older version of this knife that does.**
A: It does click and lock in the sheath if that's what you mean

**Q: Can anyone recommend a diamond file that will properly fit the serrations on this small knife?**
A: Get a triangular ceramic stone, such as from Spyderco,and this will work nicely.

**Q: Does anybody know of a similar size, or even smaller sized fixed blade that approaches this quality, etc?**
