Assembly was not difficult, but I had to read the manual twice to understand it correctly. It is important that you disengage the red locking parts from both sides in order to adjust the length of the bar. I fixed the bar on my bedroom door frame and locked it in position. Once fixed properly it stays there firmly. The good thing is that I can still open and close my door as normal. I also received an email from their customer support with some usage tips. That gives me a good feeling about their customer care service.
