I cannot count how many thermometers our household has gone through over the years. Everything until now has been unreliable. By that I mean that temperatures fluctuate wildly when taken back to back. We've gone through other basic digitals, an ear thermometer, and a forehead scanner. All had the exact same problem. Fluctuating between having a fever and not having a fever is simply not reliable. Hallelujah, this one seems to be consistent! There still seems to be a tiny bit of fluctuation, but I think that's normal? I can take fluctuation by tenths of a degree, when everything in the past was by multiple degrees!Also, super easy to use and pretty fast: about 4-5 seconds. Helpful when we're trying to train our preschooler to use an oral thermometer.

Is my temperature 98.6 or 100.1? Not sure, because this thermometer doesn't give the same reading twice in a row. it would be fine if it were a tenth of a degree off but this 1.5 degrees off.Why was this review hidden?

This thermometer is inaccurate, It reads 1.5-2 degrees higher than 3 other ones I have. Talk about causing fear in parents when you think your infants temp is too high. I'm past the return window by 4 days, so I cannot return it. I will contact the seller to see if it can be calibrated....

Love the light and the style of this thermometer but unfortunately it's not accurate......I compared it to our other thermometer, when I had a completely normal temp & it was more than a degree off. So, there's no point in having or using it.

This thermometer is easy to use and read BUT it had me thinking I had Covid 19. It registered I had a low grade fever from 99.1- 100.4 for over a month. I was beside myself. I went to an urgent care and they took my temp: 97.4! This thermometer had given a temperature of 99.2 before I went!!!!

I was storing this for the emergency in the future. But a couple days later after I received it, my husband got cold and it showed a great help for the past week. It only takes around 5 seconds in mouth and the result will come out with a DiDiDi sound. Green and red color suggests your status. There are two kinds of temperature measurement which is very convenient for my family. It is a very good product and very useful and helpful.

It reads wrong always a degree higher than docs thermometer and our other thermometer at home. Go figure. Would like to have a new one sent out to me.

I use this thermometer to calculate my temperature in the morning and it is very accurate and fast reading as it says.
