Great product and very tasty!
The tomatoes are moist and flavorful, and the minced style is a nice change from the julienne strips one normally finds in stores. It's nice not to have to drain oil, either. Be prepared, though - you get a LOT with this package. Before buying, make sure you have either recipes to use these in or a storage plan. (FYI: They DO keep well in the freezer.)

Very good, but it's a lot
Very good, and easier to use than the jarred dried tomatoes you can get at the grocery store. There's an awful lot of them, though, so you probably want to have plans to make a couple of large recipes using them before you buy. I made almost five gallons each of marinara and chili, and these let me get a stronger tomato taste than just diced tomatoes and paste would have. They're also good on salads with certain dressings.

YUM!
These are the best sundried tomatoes I've tried. Soft, moist and delicious! Although I use them often, I separated them into plastic snack-size bags that hold about 6 ounces each and froze all but one at a time for daily use. Great price, too!

When tomatoes travel with other unknown things
I guess it was the odd bag among the good ones, or perhaps the end of the original bag they come in with gazillion other pounds, who knows? But what I know was the shock to find out from the moment we opened the bag more little black things and stems that did not looked like tomatoes tiny stems, usually left on the tomatoes when they are not too ripe. I still don't know what they were. So you can see what I am talking about this was what came out when we opened the bag (the photo tells the story) Every Christmas since I can remember I have made this recipe, filled nice jars with it and everyone leaves home after dinner with at least one, I spend the whole year finding nice jars and my good arm getting hurt from chopping usually 5 pounds of tomatoes. So I decided I will save myself at least the chopping. Not now, obviously. Not knowing what all the other things were they were tossed into the recycle bin because among other things no place here - I may have missed it but I couldn't find it today either - what I found too late on the bag: if you are allergic to anything as the usual suspects like peanuts for instance, don't get these tomatoes. They are cut, and packed in a place that I thought you have to warn the buyers about if on the Web when selling your product. I found it on the outside of the bag. Too late for those who have instant reactions. We don't know how they taste because obviously after finding all those little black whatevers, and the late announcement about the place where they get packed, we decided it wasn't worth to try them.

I’m so impressed with the Exceptional Quality of Sun-Dried, SUPER RED tomato Halves, & Tasty 😋 too
The quality of these sun dried tomatoes is exceptional. The color is vibrant, the tomatoes are moist and as you can see from my photos, these tomatoes don’t look like shoe leather like so many other brands of sun dried tomatoes. I’m storing my tomatoes in 2qt. containers drowned in olive oil with Italian herbs. Yum 😋 Ready to use anytime in omelets, pasta, pizza, salad, etc.. I highly recommend this product and I’ll be a repeat customer. YUM 😋 🍅

Precook them first!
My husband and I make a breakfast casserole together every weekend to eat during the week to save on time and energy in the mornings. We used to buy the little packages of sun-ripened dried tomatoes at the store. We would have to soak them pieces in hot water then dice them by hand before using them in our recipe as they wouldn’t dice well in our food processor (it would come out as a mixture of a paste and whole chunks). It would especially be a pain if we forgot to presoak the tomato pieces since they had to soak for a bit before being truly pliable. We bought these to try and save time and effort on our part.At first I was completely disappointed and thought we had wasted our money on a terrible item. It tasted and smelled terrible and made our breakfast also taste disgusting. It made the breakfast casserole a chore to eat in the mornings. I tried so many things and was disappointed again and again. I hate wasting money so I tried one more time.To make the breakfast casserole you have to sauté onion then add garlic later (to not burn the garlic) before adding the meat. Normally you add the tomatoes after the meat is all cooked. This time I added the tomato pieces immediately with the onion. Sautéing the tomato really brought out the tomato flavor that was hidden inside. Now, these still don’t taste as good as the other tomato we had been using, but I’ll take the convenience of them now that I’ve found out how to make them actually taste like tomato. They are a little tougher and chewier than the other tomato, but that could be because we don’t soak them. I don’t know.Long story short, I would recommend against eating them as is. Find some way to precook them by soaking or sautéing them before putting them in a recipe. They will still be a little tough and not as flavorful but still useable in a recipe.

Great flavour and great value.
These tomatoes are super flavorful and have an aroma that reminds me of how tomatoes used to smell. The quality seems very good- no indication of bad tomatoes or extra matter. They are vacuum packed with a resealable zip lock top. We portioned ours out into separate bags for freezing. We plan to use them in sauces, add to salads and wraps, and snack on (they're so sweet and flavorful).Reminder: These are sun dried, not dehydrated so they are moist. We plan to still take some of these on hikes as snacks. We will repeat buy these, as soon as our freezer allows.

Best Sundried Tomatoes I've had!
These are delicious! I love how they are not in oil, tender, and cut in strips. I love them in my salads to add that intense tomato flavor. I have tried the ones in the supermarket that are in oil and I don't like the taste or the added fat. I have only been able to find tomatoes packaged like this at one store and they don't always have them. They are also not cut in strip like these are. The bag is very large and will last us a few months. I highly recommend these. Note: I do NOT get any benefit for reviews.
