**Q: Does the bottom accessory compartment have a hard shell around it so items inside will not get crushed by items in the upper pockets?**
A: There isn’t a hard shell, but I haven’t had any issues with that.

**Q: Is there two pockets that would hold a 16 in MacBook and a 12.9 ipad?**
A: I carry a 17" Lenovo and my 12.9 iPad without issue. the separator is flimsy but the whole inside is well padded.

**Q: 2. Do any of the many pockets' zippers have a small hole at the end that, when overlapped, would accommodate a TSA lock?**
A: Yes it they do overlap with lock holes. it's quite rugged as well. I haven't had to fly with it but I use it everyday.

**Q: Is this gping to hold its shape and stand upright on its own?**
A: I have been very satisfied with it's durability and it does stand up on it's own as long as you pack it evenly. it does tend to lean if you don't have the case in the bottom of it but I haven't found that to be a problem. plus the small top pouch is perfect size for a breakfast taco.
