A: No it is plastic. Very cute and well made. My 9 year old son still plays with it, but he is obsessed with all type of cars and trucks.

I am surprised it didn’t arrive in pieces. It was placed in a large box with absolutely no peanuts, or air pillows or package filler. It just slid around and the original box end flaps were torn off. Good product but poor packaging.
