## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work with a wireless usb mouse**
A: NO. IT IS A ADAPTOR FOR A USB CABLE.

**Q: new usb ms keyboard, old dell computer. green and black converters dont work. nothing does. wasting money on these. does color mean something?**
A: i solved this problem once by updating the PS2 drivers on an old NT machine but it was not a trivial task. i suspect that it would be far simpler for you to just get a new PS2 keyboard. as you probably already know, this problem is just the tip of the iceberg for an old computer with no USB ports. time to find $400 for a modern machine.

**Q: Not really tech savvy, but does this work on the green and purple slot? Like, could I get to of these and use it for my mouse and keyboard spot?**
A: Purple is for keyboards only........ And you'll have to be lucky. Over half the ones I tried did not work with this adapter at all. Funny thing is most of the different mice I had on hand worked fine with the green adapter... Again purple is only for keyboards

**Q: Will it work backwards? I have PS/2 keyboards and I need usb PLUG FOR MY COMPUTERS?**
A: You mean you need to plug the keyboards into the USB port? Check out this and similar ones, this one? You plug the keyboard into the end of it then plug the USB plug into a USB port on your computer ;))http://www.amazon.com/Adesso-Adapter-connects-connectors-ADP-PU21/dp/B00008ZPED/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1420753820&sr=8-14&keywords=Keyboard%2Fmouse+plugs+for+USBAlternatively, you can buy "just the actual plug in both purple and green":http://www.amazon.com/BisLinks%C2%AE-Keyboard-Quality-Converter-Adapter/dp/B00JFT94M2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1420754016&sr=8-4&keywords=Keyboard+mouse+plugI'm sure either of those are what you're looking for to connect with to your computers from your PS/2.
