Review: Perfect popcorn maker! - Love this! Easy to use and always makes perfect popcorn in two minutes flat! At first, I was hesitant to buy this due to the mixed reviews but after having used this more than half a dozen times, I think I know how to avoid the kernels coming out prematurely. The only time the kernels came out without having "popped" was when I wanted to make a small batch and hence did not put enough. Dry kernels were flying out and it WAS a hazard. After that experience, I made sure to always make a full batch and I've never had that problem again. Very little mess so clean up was a cinch. I used my magnifying glass and looked all over the plastic itself and read all of the information on the box. On the very bottom of the box there is a teeny tiny warning that this product can expose you to bisphenol A. **Q: Is the vent on the side or the bottom ?** A: Good Afternoon, The Motor vent of the PC8448RD13 Crazy Hot Popcorn Popper Machine is on the bottom of the unit. Thank you and have a Very Nice Day. Thank you and have a Very Nice Day. **Q: Will it work well without the clear plastic part on top that sends the popcorn down?** A: I would not buy this specific popper. It does not pop all the popcorn; leaves about 30 kernels unpopped. I'm looking to buy from a different company. **Q: Does the popping chamber utilize circular airflow or just a fan at the bottom? The older units from the 1980’s use circular air and the seeds spin.** A: I believe it is a combo; however, I returned this unit as it was poorly designed and created safety hazards. Airflow slits on side allowed random kernels to escape - they are superheatedat this point and burn skin of anyone in close contact. I reordered the WestBend Stir Crazy, which must be our 4th one in about 30 years. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect popcorn maker! *by S***N on 12 May 2021* Love this!
