I did not have a Wii U, so this game was new to me. I enjoyed some of the spins on classic characters when picking a Pokémon. I also like that it's not a typical Pokémon battle where you take turns. It's more of a fighting game that that reminds me of street fighter. To start the game it gives you a tutorial so you know what you are doing. I am still learning some of the special combinations, but am picking them up quickly.
