First and foremost my two labs use them daily; I keep them where they usually lay on the carpet. I aired them outside in the summer thinking that in the past new items I've bought them to rest or sleep on were not used right away. So they have a soft, high loft on one side and on the other a quilted fabric that is nice for summer weather ( all four seasons here). They can be washed in and dried but without fabric softer, will ruin the repellent on the cloth. See video at their website for more information. The two I purchased, I had taken photos of my dogs or other dogs hanging out with me using them, and a friend asked where I bought them. Nice that the tag has their website and company name. These ones are low to the ground, I have wall to wall carpet with padding ( came with house).My dogs liked them so much I bought two more on Amazon, great prices and again, most importantly, they get used daily. Then one day were were away for a few hours. For some reason our pup chewed up the two newer ones. The first one we purchased is still intact. She got violently ill after swallowing the stuffing inside. It took weeks for her to get back to normal.
