Boil water on stove?** A: I found out the hard way. Thought I could boil so water on it on low. Nope. The bottom of the plastic handle started melting. Luckily I caught it before the damager could be worse so it's still intact, but it's definitely not meant for a gas range. **Q: Can this be used in a mocrowave?** A: Yes. I use the "warm up" function to keep coffee stable temperature. The glass is microwave safe according to the included product documentation. **Q: can v60 02 size dripper fit 03 size carafe?** A: I have an 01 size dripper and it works fine on my 02 size carafe. It's not used every day as I'm the only one who drinks coffee in our house but have used for larger brews on long work days and with guests. I'd bought a Hario v60 brewer and bought this a few weeks later to accompany it. Whilst the glass doesn't 'feel' that strong it does seem to be relatively sturdy. I've not had any issues with filtering into or pouring from it. I try not to microwave my coffee to reheat due to flavour but the ability to do so has proven useful.
