Nothing to indicate what they were made of, instructions on dishwashing or even anything to say they were by Tala rather than some other generic Chinese brand. With this in mind i have stuck to handwashing and drying mine. **Q: Where are these spoons manufactured?** A: It actually doesn’t say anything on the spoons sorry **Q: Are the measurements painted on or engraved/etched. Don’t want them rubbing off?** A: Hi the measurements are engraved/etched on **Q: do you have to level whatever it is that you are measuring, for it to contain the measurement it says?** A: I use mine to measure salt and sugar. I don't level it off but I try to get it as best as I can and it works well.
