Review: Good torch. Bought 2 - There's endless torches on here. Endless. with so many claims and so many just don't meet those to varying degrees. Its nice Maglight have caught up with better LED technology. It's full Maglight quality and durability. Its nice and bright and as Maglight, its as bright as it claims. Doesn't claim to be millions of lumens as others on here, but they don't deliver on that. It takes standard batteries. Personal preference on this, bigger fancier batteries can drive more power from other torches. But then they need to be charged. I travel with this, so the ability to easily get new batteries is important. Power to weight is good. Go to The Torchsite co uk and get a glass breaking end cap for it. Rounds off the versatility of it, if one ever needs to break a window, especially a double glazed on, it can do it when just banging on it with a normal torch is not likely to break it. Finally, like with the old bulb models, the end screws off and it can stand up and illuminate a room like a candle, where as I don't think any? of the others do this as they only throw light forward.

**Q: The heading says this is the pro-plus ('pro+') but the image shows a regular 'pro' model. which is it?**
A: Reading the writing on the actual flashlight itself, it says: Mini Maglite LED Pro.
Somewhat oddly the regular Pro model seems to have a greater lumen output than the Pro+ model. Confused? Me too.

**Q: does it stll have the key ring loop on the tail cap**
A: No, not on this model.  In any case it would be a bit long to put on a key ring as it is about six inches in length.

**Q: The picture shows 272 lumens but the description says 226 lumens, which item am I receiving?**
A: Maybe there is a mistake in the description. I received the 272 lumens mini maglite pro. Same like the picture.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Value Robust Torch Bought At The Price I Paid

I've bought Maglite torches for many years. They are made with a strong hard metal that can take punishment. This particular model I wanted to fit in my pocket. I have to traverse a dark alley from time to time travelling home and needed a torch that could light the way and get knocked about a bit. there are smaller plastic options but I wanted it to survive in my coat pocket and even act as a last ditch defensive object. There are many Maglite mini torches out there with different torch power. At 332 lumens for a double AA battery power source this seems the best model. I bought it at a reduced price of £28.70. A day later it shot up to £52 so I felt I got a good deal. I suspect it was originally priced in error to the much lower powered 128 lumens models.
