Review: Quality by Boss as always. - If your looking at This you know what it is. I thought I’d give this a go see if I could use it and see what it would do. It’s really simple to use and is really robust so is definitely value for money. It does take a bit of practice to get your timing right or you end up with an imperfect loop. You do get the jag is it though. Over dubbing is great so you can build on basic chords or riffs. I think this is great if you play a few chords in a key then practice scales, runs, licks o we the chords. I can see that after a while you might want to upgrade to something that will generate sounds too. Shame you don’t get a power supply with it but you can get them cheap enough. Battery won’t last very long. It’s a standard Boas pedal size so compact but very robust. The display is easy to follow and very intuitive. All in all I think this is a top piece of kit. It will really help my playing.

Firstly, there was a battery already in the pedal so I was up and running straightaway. The instructions for use are clear and, after a couple of go's at synching my playing with my pressing of the pedal, I was away. It does exactly as it says. There is unlimited dubbing although you'll end up with a wall of sound with too many! My first real effort was 'Breathe' of Dark Side of the Moon. It was really easy to add the slide guitar over the chord sequence and it allowed you leeway to add a couple more for effect. I was impressed with the reproduction of the guitar and, with a bit of twiddling with the level, the balance can be made. I haven't added the bass guitar but I've no reason to believe that would present a problem. The only downside is the storage i.e. one loop can be stored. However, by running through my PC, I can record and then edit. The loop indicator dial is inspired and makes the whole process a lot more intuitive. Build quality is very good and the inputs/outputs well spaced. Highly recommended for those new to the world of loop effects pedals.

A: Hi,The RC-1 is designed to work with the Boss FS-7, it may be compatable with other footswitches but Boss do not specify which alternatives may work.  It would just be a matter of giving it a try.Reidy's Customer Support Team

**Q: never bought a looper before but could i lay a few chords down on my acoustic then let this record them keep repeating them whilst i sing?**
A: As long as your acoustic has a pickup and can be plugged into the looper you will be good to go. You can also layer the vocal with a mic if you put it through an amp as well. General view: the looper is very easy to use, sturdy and is great fun.

**Q: Hi,will I be able to upload tracks to pc/laptop?**

**Q: I can't pause or stop a loop anymore. if i double tap it finishes playing the loop with green leds flashing then deletes it? how do i change it back?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple loop pedal, good quality

Very basic but works well, no issues with its build quality. Controls are simple although the undo function is a little clumsy. It’s very much a basic practice tool and its sound reproduction quality is excellent. It only stores one loop session at a time but for practice that’s not an issue. The Boss foot switch seems a little curious at first for a looper pedal but it’s easy to learn the dynamic. I use it regularly and find it an interesting contrast to my 2 foot switch EHX looper. It’s fun to use and probably reasonable value for money if you can get one at a slight discount.
