It's a much quicker game than the original - thank goodness!! There are a couple of things that are not explained properly in the rules - we played the first game and then came up with what we thought we fair rules around the missing bits - it's almost as if the manufacturer didn't run through the game first. The only other annoy issue is that there's nothing to hold the counters on the board - it wouldn't be an issue if the board was the same size as the original but this one is much smaller and the counters are further into the centre. There's no way of remembering where the counters are so the best thing is to roll the dice outside of the board. My son was delighted with it and there are a few very good, very sneaky community chest type cards that make the game a lot more fun - the twists and turns are well worth the niggly down sides.
