Sturdy and effective
I purchased this product in the hopes it would last longer than the usual cheapo ones I grab when in the supermarket. In my photo I show what I use to use next to this product. This one has a rubber grip (although I've honestly never slipped using a standard plastic one so not sure if this is a big advantage), the bristles spread out more meaning less gunk gets trapped between bristles and it looks nice (at least while new).I don't like knowing this will likely end up in a landfill one day but it's good at its job, looks good and feels sturdy (again, never snapped a cheap one so not sure how essential this is)I like the product but don't know if I can justify the 6x price tag for future purchases. That will depend on how long it lasts, and on how long the bristles maintain their shape.

Lasting well - 8 months in and no deterioration
Unlike the cheapie I bought from my local supermarket, which lasted about a fortnight, this is still going strong 8 months on with no flattening or distortion of the bristles. It's great for pans, cleaning the sink, getting into tall glasses... mine gets used daily. Really good. Well worth the extra pennies.

Good enough value
Good dish brush, feels good in the hands. Wish the bristles were a bit more sturdy, the brush centre has warped slightly after several weeks use.

Can’t fail to do the job without effort!
So pleased that I needed to pass on the longer handled version of this washing up brush to my 100yrs old mother in her Care Home flat, because that was why I decided to order this one.Ergonomically it sits well in my hand, feeling very easy and comfortable in my weakening right hand. The bristle head is a great shape for reaching into the bottom of mugs to do a proper job of removing tea stains. I would recommend this to encourage others to wash up. It is a pleasure to use.

A short and strong dish brush that is comfortable in the hand
Although Oxo Good Grips describe this as having a long handle, I question their choice of words. The overall length is less than ony other similar brush I currently use, and several centimetres shorter than that which it is about to replace. On the plus side, by being shorter and having a broad handle, it should support heavy use. It also incorporates a semi-sharpened and slightly angled scraper edge to assist removal of more stubborn adhesions to crocks and pots, and being plastic should not be overly harsh on their surfaces (but probably not some non-stick).The hand grip is very similar in design, shape and size to certain other of their utensils currently used - the peelers most closely - and they are very comfortable in use. Although designed for those with arthritis and other medical conditions that may affect grip (none of which I currently suffer), I buy and use them because I like them, they are sturdy and tend to last for many years.Although not a design or production issue, Amazon's choice of packaging method managed to crush and distort the lower two rows of bristles which I hoped would recover if soaked in hot water, which is what happened.

Absolute rubbish!
The bristles flatten in no time at all. Then they become a matted curly mess, that traps bits of food. Then the bristles break off and end up all over the place. Not only that on numerous occasions I’ve found them stuck to plates and cups that I’d left to dry on the drainer. One lapse in concentration and you’ll end up ingesting them! I’ve had countless brushes in my life thus far and these are the ONLY ones that do this! DANGEROUS!

Comfortable to hold but short working life
As a fan of OXO Good Grips products I chose to buy this for an elderly relative. She has been using it now for about three weeks, and over that time I have found it to be well balanced and comfortable to hold. With the assistance of the excellent scraper, the bristles are stiff enough to shift stubborn, burned-on food quite easily. However, visiting my relative this weekend I noted that the bristles are starting to 'give up' and curl in. Very disappointing. Am considering returning it.

Good all round washing-up brush
Not much one can say about this. I have bought several of this type and brand. They last quite a long time be the bristles become crushed and need disposal.

Really good product.
Great dish/pot washing tool especially when combined with oxo's brush with detergent delivery compartment. (See photo).

It works great and last a long time
The bristles are just right, not too stiff and not too soft. It makes washing dishes way less of a chore. The brush has enough bristles on the end to clean the bottom of glasses and deep storage containers and the handle is easy to hold. It's the best we've found in years!
