Organic base is designed to enable coarse and resistant beard follicles absorb color (Encountered mostly with the Black Beard dye). Very rare with the Brown Beard dye. Only use Organic Base if you have to. **Q: Is it water proof? Can I work out and sweat with it?** A: Yes it is water and sweat proof. I put it on the night before then by morning it changes to full color. Color does not come off. If you don't do night before the color can appear different shades (can appear reddish brown or a greenish tint) until it changes over to its advertised color. No allergic reactions for me which I did have with Just for Men.
