Dibea D960 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, Smart Self-Charging Robot with Precise Edge Cleaning Technology for Pet Hair Thin Carpets

Worked great for three months, and then it stopped. It would move a few inches and then start turning in all directions. Looked at the manual, in the trouble shooting section, and it seems to be a known problem. It perfectly described what the vacuum was doing, and the way to resolve it is to return to the sender. If Dibea knows this is an issue, one would think they would fix it. I sent it back and got a refund and went with a different brand.

I'm speechless. This robot vacuum is fantastic! I had no idea what I've been missing.Everything is pretty easy when you open the box. The front brushes just snaps on and the dust tray just slides out after pressing the push button. Plug in the charger, turn the unit permanently on (on the side), place the robot on the charger for charging. The remote is simple. Set the clock (military time), and set the schedule time (plan). That's it!As far as cleaning this robot is just as good as my Shark!!! It was embarrassing to see all the dust along with whatever else it picked up. It went from hardwood to tile to carpet to throw rugs without any problems; very impressive.I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on one of these vacs and after a lot of research and comparisons this was the best value and the best vacuum for me.*make sure to remove any electrical cords*Update: This vacuum has already stopped working properly and I'm now researching for another brand. Now when I run it, it goes berserk. It'll go forward, then turn back and forth in circles then repeat. I always clean the sensors after every use. So disappointed! I may post an updated video.

At first, the robot worked beautifully and I was pleased at the price + quality. But it got steadily stupider and stupider, and after a month is was non-functional -- it just spun around in circles and didn't cover the floor. Either the sensors are not sealed well or the firmware gets slowly worse over time with no way to reset it.I contacted the manufacturer and they were very friendly, but ultimately unable to fix the problem. They eventually had me disassemble it entirely and put it back together, based on a youtube video in Chinese, which certainly voided the warranty but didn't fix the problem.As a side note, the 'patented D design' does not improve its cleaning ability. A circular design seems superior, as all the D manages to accomplish is occasionally banging into things as the robot spins. It's no better at cleaning corners (since it would have to align too perfectly to benefit from the shape) and does add risk of damaging furniture.In the end, I regret not going with an iRobot or some other more established and well-developed brand.

I received this Feb. 12. By March 1st the bristles needed to be replaces. They had curled up and were no longer functioning. Good thing the product box had 2 extra bristles. By March 15th the vacuum started acting funny. It would vacuum in a weird 3 foot pattern over and over again. It also kept turning in circles over and over again. It would move forward then back up 8" later and spin around. I read the troubleshooting guide. I had emptied the dust bin after every use and removed any foreign objects each time. The manual suggested wiping the sensors, roller brush and tank. Which I did. We would pick it up , shut it off, then put in in a new location and it would continue to do the same thing.My warranty expired one month after purchase. I should have been more vigilant to that date, because I was already having issues 2 weeks in to using the vacuum. Only 3 days after my warranty expired the whole vacuum wasn't working.

Not a fan. I bought this for upstairs and it's not making the cut. I'm constantly looking for it - it gets hung up on the smallest things- I've found him dead, hovering on the stairs which he's supposed to be able to navigate. My Bissell Smartclean (aka Robbie) is so much better. Live and learn. :(

Worked pretty good the first couple of times. Then we discovered some issues. Pet hair=1 Dibea=0. If you have a pet who sheds and you want a vacuum you don't have to babysit this is not the vacuum for you. The hair gets clumped together and trapped to easily. Then it doesn't stop it just drags the loose hair all over. If you as a human shed (especially long curly hair) just don't bother. The hair gets trapped around the wheels and sweepers. And finally this thing CANNOT find the home! I have pushed it next to the base, lined it up, and it still doesn't always find it.

At first I was pretty impressed by this robotic vacuum. We have 3 dogs and it was really keeping up with the mess. It helped me not to have to vacuum every day. But then it started getting hung up on carpets which is to be expected but what I do not like is that the little brushes get all warped and permanently disfigured. We took the brushes off and have been using it without. It’s been doing so-so. But today and yesterday it has only been running for 15 minutes and quitting. I have reached out to customer service and will update if the issue is fixed. Not very impressed so far.*update*After watching it attempt to clean today I’ve de used to just go ahead and return it.

Piccolo robot aspirapolvere preso per aiutare nelle pulizie nella zona del soggiorno / cucina, che costituiscono un unico ambiente, è finito che ora lo uso in tutte le stanze. Come mostrato anche nelle foto di repertorio, arriva adeguatamente accessoriato, infatti nella confezione sono presenti, oltre al robottino stesso:- La base di ricarica con l’alimentatore;- 4 spazzoline di raccolta laterali, 2 da usare direttamente e 2 di riserva;- 2 filtri per l’aspirazione;- Tanichetta per mettere l’acqua, se si vuole usare la funzione di lavapavimenti, con moccio di ricambio;- Il telecomando per attivarlo e impostarlo da remoto (batterie NON incluse);- Una spazzolina per la pulizia generale del robottino;- Manuale di istruzione in Inglese (elementare quindi facile da capire), ma è possibile scaricarlo anche in italiano con una ricerca in rete;COME SI COMPORTA?Direi bene, ad esempio nel soggiorno mi limito a posizionare le sedie sopra le tavole e a arrotolare un po’ il tappeto, come quando passavo con il normale aspirapolvere, e poi lascio che sia lui a fare il lavoro. Le prime volte ho controllato in modo abbastanza certosino se aveva pulito bene, però ammetto che con l’aspirapolvere non sono in grado di fare molto di meglio, quindi svolge bene la funzione per cui è nato.Come schema di pulizia viene indicato, nel manuale, che viene automaticamente scelto quello più efficace secondo la situazione. La maggior parte degli ostacoli li rileva bene attraverso i sensori, rallentando e passandoci attorno, mentre per altri è necessario che li tocchi con i bumper di gomma per rilevarli correttamente: in ambo i casi, fa il suo lavoro e raccoglie con le spazzoline laterali eventuali residui. Inoltre è piuttosto SILENZIOSO, cosa che non guasta mai.A livello di autonomia, per il momento corrisponde a circa le 2 ore e mezza dichiarate dal produttore, il giusto, inoltre si autogestisce tornando automaticamente alla stazione di ricarica quando necessario, con la luce START che lampeggia finchè la carica non è completa. Da li, basta avviare start premendo il bottone sul dorso o dal telecomando, o impostare un orario di avvio giornaliero dal telecomando. Nota negativa è che una volta avviato, esso continua ad operare finchè glielo consente la batteria, in quanto non è in grado di rilevare quando la superficie è stata correttamente pulita come modelli superiori. Se lo si usa mentre si è a casa, basta usare il telecomando per mandarlo verso la stazione una volta che si è soddisfatti del grado di pulizia.Nota che non guasta, è anche bello a vedersi, infatti non stona nell’arredamento generale, anche se ci do una passata con un cattura-polvere ogni 2-3 giorni, perché la polvere che vi si posa sopra salta all’occhio sul dorso nero.Dato le parti mobili e i filtri sono ovviamente soggette ad usura, bisogna cambiarle di tanto in tanto, ma vi è il kit di ricambio a prezzi direi accessibili (link:  Kit di Ricambi per Dibea D960 Aspirapolvere Kit Accessori di Ricambio,kit di Spazzole ), e anche se al momento di questa recensione non è più disponibile, spero lo ritorni a breve (ma li ho comunque visti anche in altri shop online).Per CONCLUDERE, al momento sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto, soprattutto a livello del rapporto qualità / prezzo. Ho già un robot iRobot Roomba e iRobot Braava per lavare i pavimenti - ma non mi bastava più. Volevo un altro per finire le pulizie di casa in un pomeriggio e non pensarci più.Dibea D960 mi ha piacevolmente stupito in quanto l'ho preso ad un prezzo metà del Roomba - in offerta lampo - eppurefunziona proprio bene, sia come robot aspirapolvere che come robot lavapavimenti. Questo mi ha tanto più sorpreso quanto avevo letto altrove che i robot "o devono aspirare, o devono lavare, ma non tutti e due". Non è vero! Questo robot se la cava bene con entrambi i compiti e cambiara dalla modalità aspirazione a quella di lavaggio, è un gioco da ragazzi: basta estrarre il serbatoio della polvere e mettere quello con l'acqua coperto con lo straccetto - e via..Il lato debole è che gira un pò qua ed un pò là, apparentemente senza meta e senza scopo...ma infine la stanza è abbastanza pulita, almeno per quanto riesca a riscontrare, perché non passo proprio il dito su ogni centimetro quadrato del pavimento. Ma una cosa è certa: Non è in grado di fare una mappatura della stanza, non pulisce in modo sistematico e quindi potrà scappare qualche bricciola. Quindi per i più pignoli raccomando un modello superiore di marca superiore di prezzo superiore! A me, in aggiunta di Roomba e Braava, basta quello ed avanza.Infine una nota un pò triste: non sembra tanto furbo a ritrovare la sua sede di ricarica ed anche col telecomando bisognava provarci più volte, prima di riuscirci. Il Roomba invece trovava sempre la sua sede di ricarica, e senza il mio aiuto! Altra nota poco positiva: mi sa che non capisca quando ha finito il suo lavoro, ma che continui fino all'esaurimento della batteria. Aiaiaiiiii...io invece lo mando a casa prima, perché non mi pare giusto che debba girare per 2-3 ore in una stanza sola! Quindi non va lasciato solo, abbandonato a se stesso...

Wow, ich bin total zufrieden mit meinem Dibea. Er schnurrt leise vor sich hin und putzt sehr zuverlässig. Unsere Wohnung hat 140 qm und da wollte ich einen Roboter, der das packt. Mir war es wichtig, dass er gleichzeitig saugen und wischen kann. Wenn man den Wisch-Aufsatz anschließt, ist dort automatisch jeweils Behälter für das Wasser und für den eingesammelten Schmutz enthalten. Wenn man "nur" saugen möchte, gibt es einen Saugaufsatz mit Filter. Der Schmutzbehälter ist dort auch größer. Wir haben 2 Katzen, die unendlich stark haaren und damit wird der Dibea wunderbar fertig. Auch das wirklich leise summen stört weder die Katzen noch uns.In der ersten Woche wollten wir mal ausprobieren, wie lange er läuft, bis er wieder aufladen muss. Er lief ungelogen 4 Stunden durch und ist dann auch noch weiter gelaufen. Da wir dann abends irgendwann ins Bett gegangen sind und ihn weiterhin haben laufen lassen, können wir leider nicht sagen, wie lange er noch lief. Morgens stand er brav in seiner Ladestation.Zum wischen würde ich empfehlen, den Lappen vorher etwas anzufeuchten, dann dauert es nicht so lange, bis er durchgefeuchtet ist.Ich kann ihn wirklich sehr empfehlen.

Zunächst lief der Roboter recht gut. Allerdings fährt er in diversen Chaos-Modi. Dennoch war ich vom Ergebnis her recht zufrieden. Allerdings fährt er gegen dunkle Gegenstände, erkennt diese nicht. Am Teppich bleibt er auch gern hängen, obwohl nicht sehr hoch.Am Ende sei wohl ein "Switch" gebrochen sein. Der Roboter fuhr nur noch rückwärts. Nach Kontaktaufnahme zum Support von Dibea muss man zunächst feststellen, dass dieser dann auf englisch bevorzugt kommuniziert. Was für mich soweit okay ist. Dann musste ich ein Video drehen und "per Mail" dem Anbieter zukommen lassen. Das war dann gar nicht so einfach, also erstmal alles konvertieren. Dann angeblich nicht abspielbar, dann nochmal neu.Dann Diagnose ... und ich bekam Videos wie ich den Switch ausbauen könnte. Das sah schon recht anspruchsvoll aus. Die Arbeit sollte also dem Kunden übertragen werden. Hätte ich dann auch sogar noch versucht. Allerdings ist das versprochene Ersatzteil nie angekommen. Gott sei Dank war Amazon sehr hilfsbereit und ich konnte vom Kauf zurücktreten.Aus der geschilderten Erfahrung kann ich nur dringend vom Kauf abraten, auch wenn ich grds. mit dem Roboter für den Preis zufrieden war.

Bewertungen sind für uns in den letzten Jahren immer wichtiger geworden, wir kaufen kein Produkt, ohne vorher die Bewertungen gelesen zu haben, deshalb möchten wir auch unsere Erfahrungen mit anderen teilen und hoffen, dass wir Ihnen mit unserer Bewertung weiterhelfen können.Nach langen Überlegungen haben wir uns auch dazu entschieden auf den Zug aufzuspringen und einen Saugroboter zu kaufen, bei der riesen Auswahl an Geräten ist es wirklich schwer das passende zu finden. Wir haben uns für einen günstigen Einstieg entschieden, die Verarbeitung und Qualität ist gut, der Akku hält ca.80 Minuten, es gibt eine Wischfunktion und das Gerät findet selbst in die Ladestation. Auch die Bedienung/Inbetriebnahme ist einfach, dafür ist die Saugleistung nicht ganz so gut wir bei einem herkömmlichen Staubsauger. Der Saugroboter ist einer gute Unterstützung für den Alltag aber auf keinen Fall ein Ersatz - wie soll ein Runder Staubsauger auch in Ecken oder hinter Schränke kommen. Man muss sich dran gewöhnen das der Saugroboter seinen eigenen "Kopf" hat und vermeintlich planlos durch die Gegend fährt - man denkt es zumindest wenn man ihn das erste mal zusieht, es sieht schlimmer aus als es ist . Man darf den Saugroboter auf keinen Fall als Ersatz sehen, das ist er nämlich nicht. Zu der Wischfunktion: Wir haben diese Funktion als "Nettes" extra gesehen, einmal probiert und gemerkt das es nicht wirklich funktioniert, der Dreck wird lediglich breit geschoben.
