**Q: Would you recommend this blender any bought it recently**
A: Yes, I have had mine for about a month and it’s great. The blades and motor are strong even on the lower settings and it isn’t as noisy as blenders I’ve had in the past.

**Q: does it have different speed settings for example a very slow speed for making mayonnaise?**
A: This blender has both pre-set and manually adjustable speeds . I mostly use mine for fruit/vegetable smoothies and it’s great, haven’t tried crushing ice and not very good for blending chick peas to make houmous. The self-clean mode is great.

**Q: I'm after a plastic jug for this blender as my 2l glass one is too heavy. Is there one which fits?**
A: I asked manufacturer about the plastic jug or smaller  jug/mug option but they said it wasnt available. I had to return it because the jug would be to heavy for a daily use for me.

**Q: does it have different speed settings for example a very slow speed for making mayonnaise?**
A: Not sure how slow you want it to go but the speed is operated by a dial the further you turn it the faster it goes it does have a pulse option

This blender is well-constructed and not too loud. It offers multiple modes and impressive power. It’s easy to use and clean. However, the glass jug is heavy, especially when full. Overall, it’s good value for money.

Rolls-Royce of UK blenders -- with heater in jug base -- but deducted one star for its plastic lid. Can try baking paper wedged under the lid if you don't want contents to make contact with plastic. Base is all stainless steel -- hard to find. Some of the programmes are very violent, causing leakage up through inner, filling hole. Tefal needs to calm these down and warn which ones are strong. Power button needs several depressions until timer (heater) kicks in.
