MarnotoGourmet Salt Flower from Algrave Portugal (500g package)

I would usually travel to Portugal fairly regularly and pick up a few packets of this flor de sal but as lock down has changed all that ,I was happy to find this seller,reasonably priced and it was fairly quick to arrive.I have been using this salt for so long now and love the taste so much,I would find it difficult to use anything else.Please don't stop selling.Thanks

This is fantastic quality salt at a very good price. If you haven't tried flor before this will be a revelation. A million miles from "ordinary" salt. Lovely texture, light and crunchy crystals are a flavour explosion in the mouth. It transforms any food. Lovely mineral taste. Lower in Sodium Chloride than "table salt" so is better for you. You will just love this!

I wouldn't say this product is awful, but I next time I think I'll spend the extra money on a different Fleur de Sel.This one arrived ages and ages after I ordered it in weird packagaing that made it look like a very suspicious package (wrapped in newspaper I think, with no packing slips etc).The salt itself is grainy, not like most other Fleur de Sel that I've tried before. Might be just what you want, but it's not for me.

Came quicker than I thought it would but it was damp

This salt tastes wonderful and works extremely well on roasted/caramelized nuts. It is fairly chunky, so I've had to use a mortar and pestle to get it to the right size for some of the things I use it for. Good delivery and the bag is good for resealing.

Disappointed

Good quality salt at very low cost. Thus everyone can feel special and consume once in a lifetime this rare nature's gift or have it on daily basis for that low price.
