- The R2-S65C is the 2-Way model of the new 2022 R-Series speaker line-up. It features a 16,5cm door woofer, and a 4,3cm tweeter with up to 40kHz frequency response.
- The door woofer features an all-new glass-fiber reinforced cone. This material is very stiff and extremely light-weight, resulting in a super-fast response and highly accurate music reproduction.
- The standard models (R2-S65C, R2-S65, R2-S69C and R2-S69) feature composite baskets (in comparison to the Aluminum die-cast baskets of the PRO models) – which makes them more affordable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent speakers WITH PROPER TUNING

As with all speakers of this caliber, they will require proper tuning with a DSP to sound good in your specific acoustic environment (car). People don’t talk enough about this topic, but it’s pointless to buy good aftermarket speakers without a way to tune them. I purchased the new Alpine Optim8 amp with a built-in DSP and a nice AutoEQ function. These speakers are very clear and detailed with incredible separation of frequencies to allow you to hear individual instruments very “deep” into the music. They are capable of producing a lot of mid bass as well. Apparently they fall right in line with similar speakers from Focal, and sound surprisingly high end for a reasonable price. Again, it’s all about the tuning with an RTA, AutoEQ, and the equalizer within the DSP.
