I am chronically deficient due to a medical condition and non-vegetarian products have always made me feel sick with all sorts of side effects. I had sworn off taking any supplements for many years until my husband convinced me to try this brand (the 1000iu capsules) and I was pleasantly shocked to not experience any side effects from taking them. I was originally taking 2000iu daily but my deficiency was persisting even though I get tons of sunlight daily - so I made the switch to this product and have been quite pleased with how I feel so far.
