I already had a Tapo H500 hub, so installation was simple. The most difficult part is figuring out where and how to attach them to the door, especially on doors that swing inwards. I couldn't make it work on my back door, because there isn't enough clearance for the door to pass the small half of the sensor, but all the other doors it fits with no problems. You will sometimes need to attach the adhesive to an edge that it wasn't designed for, but it still seems to work. I particularly like how I can set up a routine so that when a door is opened, it sounds a chime on the hub. I can't tell you how many times I've been startled by a roommate suddenly appearing at my office door because I didn't hear them open the hall door. This isn't a problem any longer.
