The Escort [DVD] [2017]

But very well scripted

As a crime historian, I loved the movie. I could see the screenwriter/director has a full understanding of the mechanism of crime in relation to youth, family relation and addiction; and I would like to give credit for disseminating the important life messages through characters' lines. (This is not a criticism but one thing I would like to point out being in an academic environment is that there are scientists who do believe in a form of supernatural being etc.. I wasn't totally sure if the screenwriter has the opposite view. Those scientists with a kind of belief seem to achieve better academic results (than the self-obsessed ones) because they have sense of mission, compassion to others and good principles.)

An unconventional little rom-com about a sex-addicted journalist who convinces an intelligent and educated escort girl to allow him to shadow her in order to write a story on her; it isn`t a lascivious, exploitative movie, nor is it another "Pretty Woman" gloss-over, but a sympathetic and rather sweet story about two essentially lonely characters.I had seen this film before buying the DVD so I knew what to expect.The UK DVD release is a bare-bones effort with no extras and not even any English subtitles – rather a shame – I would have liked to know more about it`s development and the actors who make it such a nice wee movie.

it was a terrible script, the lines were delivered poorly, the subject matter was unbelievable. The female had some slightly better delivery of the male. some familiar faces was nice to see and the only laugh i had was at the very beginning when her client was doing a work call in adult nappies. a waste of time. awful.

It is a fun film and rather sweet.

Good fun film

Despite reasonable chemistry between the leads, this just doesn't really get going or work at all. It clearly wants to be 'Pretty Woman', but falls massively short, and the presence of big names like Bruce Campbell and Rumer Wllis adds nothing to the concoction. Probably best to give it a miss.

Very witty with many memorable moments. Lyndsy Fonseca looks good with her big green eyes widening even further at crucial moments. She delivers the comic lines with perfect timing. I have lost count of the number of time we have watched this film and we still enjoy it.

So poorly written that the actors never stood a chance. The incessant whining and the oh so weak social commentary made this movie appalling. I turn to sex because my wealthy father didn't go to my graduation wah, isn't getting tested for STD's a drag wah. I got fired because firing anyone else would result in a lawsuit, because having sex with interns could never result in a lawsuit even though I was told to stop. I was an internet sex sensation because I emailed this list to all my friends, therefore I had no choice but to become a whore. OMG take some responsibility. Cyber bullying? Seriously? The only reason this isn't a one star review is my love for all things Bruce Campbell. I can only assume all of the 5 star reviews are from friends of the film. So glad it was free with Prime now if only I could get my time back

I really liked this movie, some don’t, reminded me of movie “Pretty Woman” but this one had its own story line, funny, attractive women, funny one liners, girl playing the escort is hot and hilarious, Mitch, guy chasing her is perfect for his part, movie cheers me up to watch
