Sorry, not going to taste and tell. Listen if your dog is stubborn, this is going to help but it won't solve your problems. We have 5 dogs in the house, some are VERY stubborn. It's about training as well as training to this scent/smell. So if your dog is trained this works well and will remove the stains. Of course I expect that you're looking into your carpet material, stain, chemical reaction to that, looking for acids, bases, etc, and hoping to get your dog-in-training to stop, so... yes, but it's just like any other product. Find out what works for you and if it doesn't, please don't blame the product. :) It might be that you need more of a basic chemical than acidic and you need to train your dog. :) Trust. 5 dogs, not a single one of them perfect. It's definitely a me problem. You got this though. The smell isn't bad at all, the bottle sprays really well, and it didn't leak during delivery. Most importantly, he hasn't peed there since I sprayed it on the wood! It also didn't stain or damage the wood, which I was really happy about. I like that it's made specifically for use around pets, and I've had no issues using it in our dog run. The bottle and sprayer seem durable, and I have several other places in the yard I'm going to try it now.
