The onion is definitely the best one (you do have to cut it into slices first) that does work in here. But not like tomato or like carrot. Cleaning can be a little bit difficult. I feel like sometimes I clean it multiple times always missing something that got stuck between the blades. And of course cleaning is a little bit scary, but the brush that they provide is helpful.
