I was a bit intimidated by all the features at first, but once I got the hang of it, programming my custom feeding schedule was a breeze.The biggest selling point for me is the ability to set up to 8 different feeding times per day. I've got a few different groups of deer that come through my property at different times, so being able to tailor the feeding to their schedules is a game-changer. No more over or underfeeding!I also really appreciate the adjustable feed rate and RPM settings. Lets me fine-tune the amount of feed that gets dispensed each time, so I can make sure my deer are getting just the right amount. The low, medium, and high RPM options are nice too - I can slow things down on windy days to keep the feed from blowing away.Setup was surprisingly easy, even for a tech-challenged guy like me. The instructions were clear and concise, and I had it up and running on my 12V feeder in no time. Just had to plug it in, set my times and feed rates, and let it do its thing!Build quality seems solid so far. It's been out in the elements for a while now and no signs of wear or tear. The buttons have a nice tactile feel and the screen is easy to read, even in direct sunlight.One thing to keep in mind - this is just the timer unit itself, no power source included. Make sure you've got a compatible 6V or 12V battery or solar panel setup to run it. Not a knock on the product, just something to be aware of.The only minor gripe I have is that the programming can be a bit fiddly, especially if you're trying to set up multiple feeding times. There's a lot of button-pressing involved, and it's easy to accidentally overshoot your desired setting if you're not paying close attention. Not a dealbreaker, but it can be a bit tedious.Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this digital game feeder timer. Bought as a replacement for one that was broken. Easy to set. Goes off right on time and easy to hook up. Great price and has been in the feeder all season with no problems.

The instructions state that it makes no difference which lead goes to which side of the motor however, it’s a very big deal if the motors are grounded to the housing, the dark blue wire is the positive side white wire you probably do not need, but it is the ground!!!Purchased another one which was just faulty, motors ran full-time. I’m trying a third but if it doesn’t work I’m doneFOLLOW UP!! I will add another star, I discovered if you disconnect the ground to the housing and attach it to the white wire (-) it works great! And that was the reason the motors ran non stop. My apology for a negative review they might add this scenario to the instructions. WP

This is my second purchase of this specific timer. I purchased the item September 10th 2024. I ordered earlier than I needed it to have the item in my stock for the hunting season knowingly that I was going to replace my existing stock feeder timer with this programmable digital timer and not wait just before the season started. I just unpackaged the item and installed on the feeder 5 days ago, October 28th 2024. I see that my 30-day return policy specifics has expired. Hopefully the seller will take action and replace the item. The timer does not function properly new out of the box. The timer does not supply enough power to spin the feeder distributor correctly and it cannot be adjusted to do so. All programming has been done correctly and I have tested it multiple times. I have two of these timers and I just checked my feeder motor in question with the other timer and the motor works properly. My first timer that I purchased is currently in use and works properly......
