I wanted a shaver because razor shaving was making my skin so dry and itchy I wanted to scratch my own skin off. Products marketed for women are sometimes the same as the products marketed for men, just painted pink. You have to pay an extra 25% or so for the pink paint. So I tried this. This works well for me if I'm in a very dry room, my legs are completely dry, pulling the skin taught, and accessing my patience to go over some areas more than once (more than twice sometimes). Then I get a decently close shave. Otherwise, no bueno. Doesn't work for me wet, with or without shaving cream or even in a room with any amount of humidity. I do get more ingrown hairs using this than when I was razor shaving. Like a LOT more. This is still preferable, to me, than scratching my own skin off. I tried underarms with this.
