But note; I have had the grip fall off my EOS 1, so make sure the retaining screw is well tightened and always keep the right size coin in your pocket so that you can change batteries. The official part for the 1N is the GR-E1 but the GR-E2 is 100% compatible. A 2CR5 battery fits in the grip and that takes a little working out because there are no instructions included, not even a slip of paper. The slower wind is immediately obvious. Nice to have a blanking plate included to seal off the motor-wind socket, as well as a protector for the battery terminals on the removed power booster.
