I was going to practice my flux core welding when I randomly got an idea cuz I kept spelling my drink at my desk I found that I had this metal cup from a bar kit and I decided to see if I could spot weld it to a series of these shapes using strips of nickel that my spot welder came with to weld batteries together.... and it came out really well and now I have an unspillable cup so I didn't use it for its purpose that I originally bought it for but it worked out pretty well and it was a fun shape to work with at the same time. I really didn't expect the spot welds to hold so well but I've dropped this thing a few times on the floor and it doesn't budge.Anyways no more spilled drinks! I'll 🥂 to that.
