I was looking for a super secure way to hang a 55” x 40” plate glass painting on drywall without having to drill the glass and with a gap between the glass and the wall to let light through. According to the manufacturers specs, I only needed 2 on top & 2 on the bottom but because of where the studs were located behind the drywall, and the odd size of the glass, this would not have been properly centered on the wall so we added another set of 4 to give a more even appearance and could not be happier with the result.
