It actually gave what it claimed to be. I love a well written badass female main character. Nothing over the top, just very believable. Their romance was well developed and the smut was amazing too.Would recommend!!5/5

Its a mafia romance but has got its own uniqueness to it. To begin with, by the title of the book I thought it was a high school romance. I know its crazy but I just randomly wanted to try, by the title and the cover to check if I'll like the book after few pages.. But Damn author made sure we don't loose the connection at any point. Its crazy I liked the book so much went ahead and was suprised it was mafia.This being the first book from the author I was quite impressed. The story begins with a party crash, now you will be quite surprised by the female lead Aida. She is feisty and wild, soft and kind bundled up together. All the while I kept thinking when is the moment where they realise thier love but we get so immersed that it just happens amd we already now every thing is set in place. Callum is like an Alpha businessman / politician/ Mafia boss. Nothing new really.The the supporting characters intrigued me a lot more .Aida's brothers specially Nero. Callum's sister's too.This book is a fine read and I am definitely looking forward to read the other books from the series

Well it was good but little bland for me. Though I liked starting.And some quotes are really heart touching. I wanted to give this book 4 star but it's not that wow material for me.

It was addicting af 👀Both Aida & Callum were strong – minded characters who are adamant to go through their ways of getting what they want. They were literally on each other’s throat sooo much that they tried to kill each other multiple times (NO PUN INTENDED)The spiceeeeeeeeee……was to die for ❤️‍🔥😮‍💨My heart melted with Callum’s love confession at the end and I soo wanted to give him a hug 😭🥺I’m completely invested in the Gallo family dynamic and I definitely plan on completing the whole series. I don’t exactly remember how i ended up buying the book but I don’t regret it at all😊Love the characters,the plot and mostly Aida and Cal🥰The book comes with qr codes for songs and other things👌🏻 Must buy for mafia/dark romance lovers.

The book was delivered in an outstanding condition, all the edges and corners were well intact. The book itself was a roller coaster and an amazing one. Loved the illustrations as well. Aida is a strong female lead (Something I absolutely adore). I rate this 4.7 out of 5 or simply 5/5. Devoured it🤌

I liked the paper quality, the prints inside, the cover everything was just sooo gooddd !! The most I liked about this was the packaging❣️ they literally did the packaging really good and three layered it was it's is definitely worth it's price n absolutely amazing just go for ittt💜🤧

Strong lead characters so the storyline was interesting. A little bit of funny parts makes it entertaining. Overall a good read.

I LOVE Aida's personality. Sarcastic, smart, spontaneous, and fierce. Mix that with Cal's tightly wound personality and you've got explosive chemistry. Enemies to lovers. Mafia. Spicy, but not overdone. I also love the dynamic of both of their families. Can't wait to follow up in the next book!

New favourite mafia romance. This book ticked all the boxes.I can’t help but love an enemies to lovers, but this book really had the most flawless transition. They went from absolutely hating one another (to the point that I really questioned if they’d both survive at one point) to respecting one another, to trusting one another, to finally loving one another. It felt authentic. Nothing felt rushed.Aida is an absolute firecracker. She is whip smart and sexy and Callum can’t help but determine that she’s an invaluable asset to him in a short period of time. Confident, observant and calm under pressure, she is one of my favourite main characters ever.Callum is, at the start, bored. Respectful and ambitious, totally. Driven to win, absolutely. But happy? Excited? Definitely not. He finds Aida unrefined and wild at first, but she brings out the best in him before long.This couple was hot! The story was too! This book didn’t just use the mafia backdrop as a stage to enact a romance scene. We get to watch a plot unfold and overlap and I’m expecting it to get more intertwined as the series goes. The story took the characters in unexpected ways and I loved every minute of it.Often in a mafia romance, the heroine is a safe, soft landing for the hero to come home to after all the trials of this life. And I love stories like that as well, because everyone needs a safe space. But Aida and Callum are fighting together, always, towards their future. This is a relationship built on trust and respect and they are hard core equals.This book was also so funny - I laughed out loud more than once and had such a hard time putting it down!

I decided to read it because mafia romances, enemies-to-lovers and arranged marriages are my jam. Here, I got the all of them. But the book was not a story I imagined.. it was better!Great world building, amazing characters and the main couple is WOW. Aida is a bad girl, rebel and hilarious. Cal is controlled, a bit snob and they fight and banter in the best way possible. I laughed aloud, couldn’t put the book down and definitely, enjoyed every second of the story.Obviously, I want to know what happens next!
