This was causing issues at his swimming lessons where he felt nervous about getting his ears wet. We tried the following with the feedback from our 4YO Swimming cap - pulled his hair not wearing Plastic ear plugs - they are not comfy not wearing Headband too tight too big don’t like it - not wearing The putty buddies were the last resort and WOW because they are so soft he was happy for these to be tried on in his ears, were comfy and Has them straight in at the pool before his lessons. No complains during the lesson and when he finished these can be cleaned and put back in the small carry case. Thanjs** A: Granddaughter had them from age 6 but I think they'd be ok for younger or older. They're really comfortable and easy to use. **Q: Could these be used in a 3 year old?** A: An adult would have to put them in, and I recommend a cap or band to reduce fiddling, but they should be fine. Note that they are very sticky at first, but they loose stickiness after using several times, so be sure to have fresh ones available. All the best! **Q: Is this good for a 1 year kid?** A: Yes they should’ve you can mould it into any shape and even take some off if too much. **Q: Need these for swim lessons - will my child be able to hear the instructor?** A: My granddaughter used them all the time to avoid ear infections.
