In 1888, the year the Football League was established, over 3000 pubs and bars were serving hot cups of Bovril. In 1902, Captain Scott and Ernest Shackleton celebrated Christmas Day with a Bovril drink. In 1936 Bovril extract and milk was a popular drink! Add a teaspoon of Bovril paste to a glass of hot milk and stir. Product formulations may vary and consumers should always check the actual product label. Great product but then again its Bovril great company been going years. but well over priced.

The Bovril itself has nothing wrong with it and taste how it should. The size however is very small almost like a stocking stuffer size. I’ve gotten two full size jars for the same price so not a great amount for the money. I do fully realize it is my fault for not checking the amount but I never imagined they would be so small. I will no be purchasing from this vendor again simply because of that .
