But when Dennie finds out she has a curved spine everything changes.Dennie has to where this ugly brace for four whole years and all her dreams are brocken.I think tweens & teens from 10-13 will enjoy this book. Its got love awkward ages and friendship.I loved reading this book!

This is a brilliant book of Judy Blume's. Its about a 13 year old girl,Dennie who's mother wants her to be a model. But when Dennie finds out she has a curved spine everything changes.Dennie has to where this ugly brace for four whole years and all her dreams are brocken.I think tweens & teens from 10-13 will enjoy this book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good! but ending was disappointing! :/

I really enjoyed reading this book because i did have scolioisis and had the operation. As i am the same age as Deenie in the book i really felt i connected to this book and you could say i had dejavu. I would really like it if Judy blume could write a second book about deenie where she has to have the operation, because in reality a brace doesnt fix the curve iut just prevents the curve from getting worse, and even in some cases the curve becomes worse and the person is need to have a operation. I just think it would be a really good book as to me the ending did not make sense as it just ended!
