There are different types of Plywood, which we had to find ourselves the painful hard way years ago when a timber supplier gave us cheap Chinese plywood, which caused the hunting traps to swell after a few days of damp weather, making them useless. This trap is made of high quality European plywood of the quality BFU 100, carrier material birch (not poplar, as with many Asian brands). The individual wood layers are thin, water-resistant & resistant to boiling and run absolutely straight. Asian and cheap plywood can often have a few thick, irregular layers, which are not made of birchwood but poplar. Mechanics: Our humane traps are designed for longevity and absolute weather resistance. That is why the mechanics are completely made of aluminum - since this (it is known from the high-quality vehicle construction) does not rust. The mechanics can therefore never rust together and function also after years, just like on the first day. Application: Lure: Grease the side walls in the entrance area of the trap with some lure. On the footboard, you can add some more lure and maybe place them with a whole egg. Location: Place the trap as close to the house wall/ barn as possible. The animals like to move along the walls at night. IMPORTANT: Please try to touch the trap as little as possible. If possible, wear gloves, as a marten has a very good sense of smell.
