Not perfect, but totally serviceable, and they look awesome, if you like that kind of thing. It took about 3 days before I had enough dings in the top side that the white stuff was coming off, revealing a rather unattractive dirty grey undersurface, but that is my only complaint - otherwise they are massively comfortable, really well made, solid, sturdy, and you feel very supported wearing them. Slightly too small for me in thermal socks, which can lead to some fainting in Waitrose, so perhaps get a size bigger than you normally take.I use them on an EUC, where they allow just the right balance of foot flexibility and stiff calf support for excellent, controlled electric unicycling. Slightly slippy in the wet - less grippy than you'd expect, but if you're careful on ice and in mud they'll be fine. Pretty much waterproof too, and keep your feet massively warm in winter - you can go striding about in the snow for ages before your feet notice. ### ⭐⭐⭐ had I known I would have fitting problems I'd have gone for a better pair in the first place a brand that I ... *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 March 2018* Brought these as a replacement for same brand from same seller in a smaller size. I am normally a size 11 in most trainers and boots is anything size 11 is bigger in boots. With these I have had to send the size 11's back and go for the size 12. I feel these boots are still very tight fitting and will not fit my right foot without thin socks on. Unfortunately they don't do a size 13 and if they did would it then be too loose around the foot?I am a noob biker so this is my first pair of boots, had I known I would have fitting problems I'd have gone for a better pair in the first place a brand that I have heard of from a bike shop or something local to me.Ok for your first pair I guess maybe they will last, maybe not I cant say de-rated to 3 stars as it cost me £6.10 to collect them from DPD drop off and £7.50 to return the last pair 1/3 of the price of the boot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They're fine for the money but within the first month one ... *by T***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2014* I've had these 6 months to replace in short term some Sidi Vertebraes and I wear them 5 days a week for 20 mile commute. They're fine for the money but within the first month one of the red sole rubbers started peeling away from the sole so I had to super glue it back on - no problem since. There is also some cracking appearing in the vinyl just behind the gearchange reinforcing on both boots, which will probably affect the waterproofing in heavy downpours.
