While it performs adequately in most situations, I did encounter some issues when using it on the ceiling. The stud finder features multiple scanning modes, including stud detection, metal detection, AC wire detection, and deep scanning. In most cases, it accurately located studs within walls, making it a useful tool for various projects. However, when attempting to locate studs in the ceiling, I found that the accuracy was inconsistent. The stud finder missed a few studs, which led to frustration and additional time spent trying to find them manually.
