I think the size is one size bigger than described.So this one is actually for older than 11.

The waist size is too big for the age group listed
I bought this because it says it fits children 5 to 11 years old. When I put it on a 11 year old gymnast, its waist size is too big to fit tight, not to mention younger gymnasts. I wish the waist design was smaller and be able to fit the age range as it says.

... and all the adjustments are made to fit as good as it can
After a child is strapped into the harness and all the adjustments are made to fit as good as it can....the strapping loosens up! I have to stop the children from playing and re-tighten it repeatedly. The kids are doing flips in the air and straps loosening up are dangerous! I also think the side loops should have been metal (like is on the adult harness) rather than webbing.
