Review: Best hair dryer ever - OMG where was this hair dryer all my life!!! Honestly I was hesitating buying this hair dryer for years but after doing some serious research I found that this dryer got great reviews and thumbs up time and time again so I decide to put my money where my gut feeling is and am thankful that I did as it was best decision I could make for my hair. Not only does it dry my fast but also dries it straighter with less fly aways. Love it and from now on am definitely a Elchim fan!!! My hair thanks it! Review: Excellent - This dryer is amazing. The pressure and heat of the dryer combine well and creates an opportunity for efficiency in the work place. My only wish is for a concentrator comb to be included. ## Features - AWARD-WINNING ITALIAN PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER – Made in Italy and recognized with prestigious beauty awards, the Elchim Hand Mod 2001 combines premium craftsmanship, durability, and salon-quality performance trusted by hairstylists worldwide. - POWERFUL 1700-2000W HIGH-PRESSURE AIRFLOW – Advanced air compression technology delivers powerful, concentrated airflow for faster drying and efficient styling while helping reduce unnecessary heat exposure. - ADVANCED IONIC TECHNOLOGY – Releases negative ions to help reduce frizz and static, smooth the hair cuticle, enhance natural shine, and leave hair looking healthier and more manageable. - CUSTOMIZABLE PROFESSIONAL STYLING – Features 2 speed settings and 5 temperature levels, providing complete control for drying, smoothing, volumizing, and styling all hair types and textures. - LONG-LASTING PROFESSIONAL MOTOR – Durable AC motor engineered for over 2,000 working hours, making it ideal for salons, beauty professionals, hair schools, and daily home use. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08XZTFJL1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #194,731 in Beauty ( See Top 100 in Beauty ) #836 in Hair Dryers | | Brand | Elchim | | Brand Name | Elchim | | Color | Gold & Black | | Colour | Gold & Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 96 Reviews | | Hair Type | All | | Included Components | Concentrator | | Item Weight | 0.1 Grams | | Manufacturer | Elchim | | Manufacturer Part Number | HU-XI-201 | | Material | Ceramic | | Material Type | Ceramic | | Maximum Temperature | 150 Degrees Celsius | | Model Name | 2001 | | Model Number | HU-XI-201 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of settings | 2 | | Other Special Features of the Product | 1700-2000W Professional Power, Long-Life Motor (2000+ Hours), 2 Speed Settings, 5 Temperature Settings, Advanced Ionic Technology, High-Pressure Air Compression System, Anti-Frizz Performance, Static Reduction Technology, Made in Italy, Professional AC Motor | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Power source | Corded Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | Professional Salon & Spa | | Special features | 1700-2000W Professional Power, Long-Life Motor (2000+ Hours), 2 Speed Settings, 5 Temperature Settings, Advanced Ionic Technology, High-Pressure Air Compression System, Anti-Frizz Performance, Static Reduction Technology, Made in Italy, Professional AC Motor Special features 1700-2000W Professional Power, Long-Life Motor (2000+ Hours), 2 Speed Settings, 5 Temperature Settings, Advanced Ionic Technology, High-Pressure Air Compression System, Anti-Frizz Performance, Static Reduction Technology, Made in Italy, Professional AC Motor See more | | UPC | 836793004303 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Wattage | 1875 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Elchim - **Colour:** Gold & Black - **Material:** Ceramic - **Power source:** Corded Electric - **Wattage:** 1875 watts ## Images ![Hand Mod 2001 Professional Hair Dryer 1700-2000W, Ionic Technology, High Pressure Airflow, 2 Speeds & 5 Heat Settings, Long-Life AC Motor, Made in Italy, Black & Gold - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51N0EV1wAXL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Where can I buy another nozzle please..... misplaced it ?** A: Google elchim hair dryer parts. Plenty of choices. **Q: Will this dryer work in Canada/US?** A: This dryer is for USA.....if Canada has the same outlet/voltage then it would work there as well. I live in NYC. **Q: I just bought this dryer but am unsure how to clean the air filter. Does the protective housing snap off? I don't want to force it.** A: My dryer has a cover over the air filter that twists off, I rotate the cover 45 degrees to the right or left and it lifts off easily. To replace it, I align the cover and rotate it 45 degrees and it stays on. I hope that helps you.. **Q: Does the concentrator attachment stay on? My current dryer has the concentrator, but it pops off at least a couple of times when I am using it.** A: Although I don't normally use the concentrator attachment, when I have used it the piece fits snugly and doesn't fall off. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best hair dryer ever *by M***6 on 1 September 2024* OMG where was this hair dryer all my life!!! I did not give it 5 stars for its weight and its ability to travel with simply because this dryer is a full-size dryer and not designed to be light in weight and compact to travel with. ## Frequently Bought Together - Elchim Classic 2001 High Pressure Hair Dryer - 1875 Watt Quick Dry Professional Salon Blow Dryer - Round Brush for Blow Drying - Medium Ceramic Ionic Thermal Barrel Brush for Sleek Precise Heat Styling Blowout Volume - Lightweight Round Hair Brush for Smooth Hair (2.4in, 1.7in Barrel)(Non-electric) - Elchim 3900 Healthy & Light Ionic Professional Dryers, Lightweight with 2 Concentrators Included, Multiple Color Options --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fi/products/635134645-hand-mod-2001-professional-hair-dryer-1700-2000w-ionic-technology](https://www.desertcart.fi/products/635134645-hand-mod-2001-professional-hair-dryer-1700-2000w-ionic-technology) --- *Product available on Desertcart Finland* *Store origin: FI* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
