Reuseable large deep grow bags
Disclosure. This is a review of a product I was sent for free via Vine. All opinions are my own.I won't be able to test these out until potato growing season, but they certainly look like what I was expecting, a good size. The bags are biodegradable, so I'm unsure how many seasons they will last, but the instructions do imply that the bags can be cleaned for reuse.I've only grown potatoes in bags previously, so I like the idea that they can also be used for carrots, tomatoes, fruit or flowers. And since, I've already planted my potatoes this year, I will test these out on a different crop. They have several drainage holes and a flap near the base. They also have carrying handles but these felt rather awkward to me.They did not come with any instructions but it is self-evident how to use. Plus the website product listing, indicates that they can be easily cleaned and stored for reuse. Apparently they are made of a breathable material.Until I fill them, it is difficult to tell how sturdy they are.At £9.99 for 4, they seem good value.

Strong and practical
These are good sized bags, made of a strong plastic tarpaulin like material, with metal eyeleted holes in the bottom for drainage, a strong Velcro secured flap that can be pulled up to access the contents from the bottom and strong canvas handles/straps. The bags are ideal for growing potatoes allowing you to check on progress and pick what you need rather than having to dig up the whole plant. The bags can also be used for other purposes including using them as a composter. The bags should be able to be reused, so once purchased should last for a good few years.

Useful bags for a variety of situations
We've grown spuds in felt potato bags before, and the concept has worked well. Being able to check the crop without disturbing the plant is very useful. I hadn't thought of using them for other crops, or for flowers, but why not?!The bags feel sturdy, including at the location of the handles, and there are drainage holes in the base. When not in use the bags can be folded up.However, for this year, my intention for the bags was to use them (as suggested in the product listing) in non-crop ways! So far, one is holding numerous pairs of socks (long story, don't ask) and another is being utilised as a light but roomy container to transport weeds and prunings from the back garden to the 'green' waste bin out the front. So far I'm very pleased with the bags, and hope to do crops and/or flowers next spring.

At time of writing they're great value at £2.50 per back
These are fab value. They are robust enough to cope with most situations, work well and the opening panel is genuinely useful. Because there is no rigidity, moving them around when half full is less good than when moving rigid containers, but that just means plan ahead and place them where they should stay! At time of writing they're £2.50 per back and I would say that was a good price.Recommended.

Solid grow bags
These are very decent sized bags and each holds up to 40 l. They appear to be well made - reinforced in the right areas such as handles and rivets, and they can be reused which means you can grow year on year with the same bags.We have only just planted, but expect these will be really useful long term.

Versatile Growing Bags
These are really good grow bags that I'm looking forward to sowing some carrots and potato seeds in. They're made from strong materials so I know they'll be able to withstand the good old British weather! The colour is good too but I ordered these for the capacity rather than anything else. The 10 gallon capacity is going to be perfect for growing root vegetables in.I also like that they have a little Velcro flap or 'window' which allows you to check on your plants progress and harvest your vegetables when the time comes without having to unpot the whole plant like you would with a traditional plant pot. The drainage also looks pretty good and the reinforced handles are definitely going to be needed. These are also reusable with is fantastic so you can just keep growing and growing to your hearts content whether that be vegetables, fruit or flowers you could do either as they're very versatile.Good value for 4 bags. Recommended.

Really pleased with these potato grow bags
I’m really pleased with these potato grow bags!I’ve got a few of these and these are some of the best I’ve ordered on Amazon. They are made of a durable greenhouse cover material and have proper holes in the bottom to allow for drainage. I like that they are a decent size and that they have a little window so you can check on your potatoes without disturbing the plants. These are reasonable value for money and very practical. Would recommend.

Sturdy black plastic bags with adequate drainage for growing vegetable plants.
These bags are large, holding up to 40 litres of growing medium. They have strong handles to let you move the full and heavy bags. There is a window in each bag to allow root crops, such as potatoes to be harvested without disturbing the plants. There are metal reinforced holes in the base of each bag to let excess water drain out.The bags are reusable and in the winter could be used for storage.I haven't planted anything in them yet as I have already planted my crops for this year but I will use them next season for potatoes, carrots and other deep rooted crops.
