The Tilta Basic Ring Grip Plus is a precision-engineered aluminum alloy accessory designed for DJI Ronin RS3 Pro, RS4, and RS4 Pro gimbals. Featuring dual contact points for enhanced stability, continuous power options via battery mounts, and a low mode for versatile shooting angles, it offers professional filmmakers a customizable and durable grip solution compatible with a wide range of Tilta accessories.

## Description

This upgraded version of the Basic Ring Grip supports all accessories from the previous versions including the Remote Control and Dual Channel Handles. Utilizing a new magnesium aluminum alloy, the Basic Ring Grip Plus improves upon the previous model with a slightly lighter weight and improved durability. The Basic Ring Grip Plus features all of the same contact points as our other models, meaning you can use the Gold or V-Mount Battery Plates to power your gimbal and accessories for longer You can also use our Power Supply Module which provides convenient mounting and power options for accessories like external monitor or wireless video transmitters. Our Ring Grip systems provide increased stability when compared to normal handheld operation by utilizing multiple points of contact via the two included mechanical handles. Similar to previous versions, this also allows you to turn the gimbal’s Battery Handle into a Top Handle so you can quickly transition to low angle shots while providing additional power to your gimbal. An integrated kickstand allows you to easily set the gimbal down in between takes.

Review: Note that this is the ring grip basic even though the title says ring grip plus. It does not come with the wireless controls. I have been using this gimbal with the DJI RS3 for a few months and have been happy. I went with the basic because the RS3 is not compatible with the wireless controller on the plus or advanced. Make sure to check for compatibility if you're going to go for the grips with wireless controllers. Installation is quick, and the ring grip has smooth turning rings to secure the pieces together. It feels very sturdy and secure. There is a huge improvement in stability when you can grip a gimbal with both hands, allowing for more precise pans as well. The rubberized texture also helps with keeping a firm hold. I was a little concerned about holding the rig by the horizontally mounted battery but so far have not had any issues. Just make sure to tighten it down. For gimbal operators looking for an easy and affordable way to improve gimbal handling, I highly recommend this ring grip. It's well made, easy to put together, and makes a difference in steadiness and stability.

Note that this is the ring grip basic even though the title says ring grip plus. It does not come with the wireless controls. I have been using this gimbal with the DJI RS3 for a few months and have been happy. I went with the basic because the RS3 is not compatible with the wireless controller on the plus or advanced. Make sure to check for compatibility if you're going to go for the grips with wireless controllers. Installation is quick, and the ring grip has smooth turning rings to secure the pieces together. It feels very sturdy and secure. There is a huge improvement in stability when you can grip a gimbal with both hands, allowing for more precise pans as well. The rubberized texture also helps with keeping a firm hold. I was a little concerned about holding the rig by the horizontally mounted battery but so far have not had any issues. Just make sure to tighten it down. For gimbal operators looking for an easy and affordable way to improve gimbal handling, I highly recommend this ring grip. It's well made, easy to put together, and makes a difference in steadiness and stability.
