They can be used for dry dog food storage. I use for the different types of wheat I use to grind fresh to make pastries and breads. A very good value for air tight storage. Wheat, oats, etc... to keep fresh and dry, I add oxygen absorber and silica gel humidity absorber sachets. Because they are air tight, waterproof, they are useful for home storage and away - in RV/Campervan storage when on a road trip camping excursion. The only downside I could identify is the thickness of the plastic. I did think it would be thicker, more solid plastic. The plastic is strong to support contents and stackable. Not as big as expected, though. *by A***M on 7 January 2024* A perfect container for koi food but the 35lb capacity is over optimistic. Capacity well short of a 15kg bag (33lb) of floating fish food, which is a little more voluminous than sinking food. I reckon it took about 27-8lb, as I filled my daily feeding jar and put the rest in the feeder. Reliable rotary lid with a satisfying and functional whoosh as it seals the food, keeping it fresh for the next filling of the daily jar.
