We like the trails that take a full day to hike. I wanted a backpack that was big enough to carry my water and food and emergency supplies but not so big that it was heavy. This backpack fits the bill! I wasn’t too interested in the water bladder feature, so I don’t have much to say about that, it does however appear to be of good quality. I took the water bladder out and used simply for the backpack. I carried: several snacks, a sandwich, 4 water bottles (about 20 ounces each), an emergency kit, and I fit several extra jackets in as well. The size is perfect! A couple of things I did however notice: I am a small women, 5 feet tall and about 120 pounds. The bottom clip was a bit odd for my height, it didn’t fall on my hips or my waist. It was just kinda in the middle of my stomach. That didn’t bother me too much, I just spent quite a bit of time adjusting it to were it was comfortable for me. I also noticed that the water bottle holders on the side are quite small. (This won’t bther many as it’s actually designed to use the water bladder inside the backpack) I was able to fit a couple small plastic bottles in. And then I just Threw my bigger bottles inside the pack... all in all, I love this pack! It does exactly what I need it to. Review: Great and useful - This is a must buy for any avid or professional hiker. The pack stays nice and cold. The zippers and compartments have more than han enough room for snacks and other essential items.
