Sturdy!
Very sturdy and well made! It does take quite a bit of time to put together (took us about 3.5 hrs) but you can tell it will hold up well compared to other furniture we’ve purchased from Amazon.

We a have been using for 2 years . We tried both style bunk bed and single beds too . Material is really good. Exactly it value for money , actually this kind of quality you can pay thousands at the market.

Funciona Muy Bien 👍
Es igual a las fotos, la madera se ve muy buena, no es difícil de ensamblar. Yo le coloque colchones pequeños es decir de 6" para que tuviese más espacio para poder sentarse en la cama de abajo sin pegar la cabeza con la parte de arriba.

A few complaints but still a great value
I paid $199 for this bunk bed and am happy with the purchase. Assembly was straight forward but a bit time consuming. Well over 100 screws.Once assembled, the two beds are very sturdy, when stacked together, they are still very sturdy. The beds do not come with full size bunk boards for the mattresses, but rather each has 13 slat boards string together as to be spaced evenly. The support is fine though for the mattresses. The only issue is that the slat boards aren't finished or sanded in any way. They look and feel like boards of wood you would buy at Home Depot or Lowes. When set up as a bunk bed, the person in the bottom bunk may get slivers from the slats of the top bunk if they like to fiddle with things. So far, my 2 year old son who sleeps in the bottom bunk hasn't had a sliver, but he is a bit more reserved than other boys his age.Due to the height of the beds, no mattress thicker than 8 inches could safely fit in either bunk. Anything thicker and the rails of the top bunk would be useless. And for the bottom bunk, there would be very little space between the mattress and the top bunk. For the top bunk, there is 14 inches from the bunk mattress boards to the top of the top guard rail. A 6 inch mattress will leave 8 inches of guard rail protection. The guard rails of the top bunk are solid, but if the occupant is a bit rambunctious, I would question the longevity of the rails. Once solid kick would likely end the usefulness of the rails. As long as the person sleeping in the top bunk isn't an out of control kid who destroys everything, it should be fine though. The steps on the ladder are thick and solid. I appreciate that they are flat and not rounded like on other bunk bed ladders. My 5 year old son has no difficulty climbing up and down the ladder. The only possible issue may be the color. Since the color is dark, it may be difficult for young children to negotiate the steps in the dark of night.I really only have two complaints. One is what I already mentioned about the unfinished slats for the mattress support. I just know that at some point someone will get a sliver, but hey, this is a rather minor concern -- every kid gets slivers throughout childhood. My second complaint is that you can't choose where to position the ladder. You are stuck with placing the ladder on the right. With the angle of the ladder and since it sticks out a good 18 inches, due to the layout of my boys bedroom with where the window, closet, door, light switch, window, dresser, book shelves, chair, etc are all located, we had to do some rearranging of furniture. I wish there was an option of placing the ladder on the left side of the bed rather than the right.Bottom line: the bed is safe, secure and worth the value. My boys love it.******** UPDATE 2012-06-05 ************My 2 boys have been using this bed for over a year and they are still loving the setup. No problem other than the fact that my youngest boy has had a sliver or two from the support boards. Everything is still holding together. In fact, I'm going to be ordering a set for my 2 girls.********* UPDATE 2014-04-28 ********Well, it took much longer than we intended, but after many unplanned expenses, my wife and I finally got around to having enough saved up to buy a bunk set for our girls (ages 9 and 2). We bought the first set for our boys nearly two and a half years ago. The set we just put together for our girls is the same as our first set, but a different color. They haven't changed anything from what we could tell in the 2.5 years since our first purchase, so my initial review still holds true for me. We didn't buy our second set on Amazon though, Walmart had the Cherry model for $200 and at the time of purchase, Amazon had it for over $300. Easy choice. It took a bit longer this time, since I at first wanted to assemble it MY way, but my wife kept insisting we do it the right way. She of course was right, and my stupidity cost us a bit of time (sorry honey). But other than that, it was just as smooth as setting up the first set. Roughly 150 screws and bolts. I'm going to try to upload pictures of our assembly stages.I was just reminded that we had one hiccup when assembling the set for our girls. We were one dowel short. Either we lost it, or the manufacturer shorted us. EIther way, we had to wait to assemble the ladder. After finishing assembling the bed, we took a quick trip to Loews, got a pack of dowels and sawed one to length and boom, ladder took less than 5 minutes to assemble and attach to bed. I had forgotten about the hiccup because it was such a minor problem and an easy fix.We love this set. It's worth waiting for a good sale. I think the most I would pay for this bunk set is $300, but it's on sale for $250 or less often enough, I'd wait until it lowers to that price or less. For any of you also searching for mattresses that will work with this bunk set, we bought two Sleep Master 6-Inch Smooth Top Therapeutic Memory Foam Mattress, Twin for our girls. They both love it. They both sleep longer and deeper than with their old spring based mattresses. Can't speak to the longevity of them though. But they are rather inexpensive when compared to other mattresses.***** UPDATE 2018-09-24 *********Both sets are still holding up with a few minor issues. One of the 3/4 inch slat boards to support my son's mattress cracked, but that was due to him being a rather ungraceful "bed plopper" when he gets into bed excessively tired. I went to Lowes, bought a 3/4 inch board, cut it, sanded it, and replaced the cracked board. Easy as pie.Since my initial review, my wife and I have had another daughter and are expecting another son at any moment. We needed a different bedroom and bed arrangement, so I built a custom-made loft bed for our oldest daughter, and our two youngest daughters will be taking over the girls' bunk set. I plan on doing the same for our boys, the oldest getting a custom-made loft bed, and the two youngers taking over the boys' bunk set. My oldest son will be a teenager his next birthday and I don't know if this bunk set will withstand him, not because he is rampagey or violent, but because he is the typical ungraceful boy. This does not change my initial rating or opinions of this bunk set. I still think it is a great set for children under 13, and even for most older girls. Teenage boys on the other hand…

Sturdy and perfect!
My kids got these beds as a Birthday gift from their Grandparents and Aunt, they had me find a bed that could convert to a bunk bed and one that I thought would suit our needs and the space that we have, so I saw these... I recognized the brand and read the reviews. I saw nothing but great, legitimate reviews.Let me start by saying that I love these beds, my kids love them, everything about them is great. And I will tell you why....First off, the price of these is great!! Super affordable, I don't think you could find many single beds at this price, let alone two that can be placed as Bunk Beds or two Single beds!As soon as I got the box come I knew that these beds were made of true solid wood.. not that rinky-dink pressed wood that a lot of kids furniture is made of. These things were heavy, which was what I wanted. I needed to know that these would be sturdy enough to hold growing kids, kids who even though we say "No Jumping on the bed" will likely make an attempt or two at actually jumping on the bed!So as soon as I received both boxes (Delivery was a little bit of an issue, but that isn't in regards to the actual bed so I will let that part slide for this review... Just a small tip, if you order this bed, contact amazon and tell them that you'd like this shipment sent TOGETHER, because they will be shipped separately otherwise. This way you will get both boxes at once. As soon as I had told them to do this, we got these beds in about 3 days with our prime shipping.)Anyways, as for the beds... I put them together instantly. I did this by myself since I'm the handy one in the household and thought I would need my husbands help but I managed to do this within 2-2.5 hours total from start to finish and that includes a few breaks and searching for the right screw driver in my closets. They are very straight forward to assemble. And unlike a lot of products, this had no chemical scent, no potent smells that you need to air out.Once they were all together I didn't even hesitate to sit down on them, after assembling them I knew they were just as strong as they felt. I've laid in these beds with my kids, my husband has laid in them and both of us are beyond impressed with them! I love them, we currently have them set up as the photo shows since our kids are 3 & 4, but once they are old enough in a year or two we will put them as bunk beds and I feel that they will be the safest. The guard rails and the ladder are great also (not pictured, as I do not need them until the bed is fully together).Another bonus is they have plenty of storage space in underneath. So, if you are looking for an affordable bed (or two.... or a bunkbed) this is the bed you should purchase. Rest assured, your kids will be safe and I don't think you can beat this price or the quality.

If you want pieces that fit, are sized correctly, and holes that align, this bed is NOT for you!
Wow. I am bit shocked by all the positive reviews. This bed is a nightmare to put together. We have one headboard that is too big on one side and can't be used, bed slats that aren't long enough or spaced adequately to actually fit the bed, and so many other headaches - including the fact you have to use a friggin allen wrench for most of the screws instead of a normal screwdriver attachment on a power drill which would save tons of time. Customer service closes early than stated hours and tells me it will take 8 weeks to receive a replacement part if they approve my claim. You don't really get what you pay for in the time you spend on fixing the mistakes of this product (drilling new holes, ordering new parts).
